AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's golf team and head coach Jack O'Keefe announced Wednesday morning that McCullough Pickens will join the Jaguars for the approaching spring 2018 season as a sophomore-transfer from Belmont University.

Pickens comes to Augusta from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., and can play immediately in the fast approaching spring 2018 season. At Belmont from 2016-2017, Pickens played in 29 rounds as a freshman and posted a 76.3 scoring average, while producing three top-10 finishes. Most recently he competed in three events at Belmont in the Fall 2017 season. Pickens had a 75.6 scoring average in his eight rounds played.
Prior to Belmont he lettered in golf at Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Ga., and earned All-State honors. Born in Columbia, S.C., Pickens plans on studying business at Augusta University.
