Augusta Ga. – The Augusta University Women's Cross Country team defeated local rivals Paine and USC Aiken in the Garden City Dual.
Micah Weathers turned in another outstanding performance as she finished first overall with a time of 14:36.30. She out ran fellow Jag Miranda Taylor, who finished second overall, by nearly 1:10. Rounding out the top three finishers for the meet was Mckenzie Knudsen, who finished at 15:44.82.
Overall it was another outstanding performance for the women's team in a meet that was more on the friendly side of competition. Augusta will head to the Peach Belt Championships for their next meet in Pembroke, N.C. on Saturday, Oct. 26th.
