NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – The Augusta University women's and men's cross country and track & field teams will co-host the seventh annual AU Run for the GreenJackets 5K on Saturday, August 24 at SRP Park. The fundraiser to support the Jaguar cross country and track teams begins at 7:30 a.m.
WHO? Augusta University Athletics and the Augusta GreenJackets host a 5K to support the AU cross country and track & field programs.
WHAT? Annual 5K race in North Augusta, S.C. This exciting 5K will take runners around parts of the Greenway along the Savannah River and near Hammonds Ferry. It will finish inside SRP Park – home of the Augusta GreenJackets
WHERE? SRP Park located at 187 Railroad Ave., North Augusta, S.C. 29841
WHEN? August 24, 2019 @ 7:30 a.m.
A $27 entry fee gets you a spot in the race, a GreenJackets Gift, and a general admission ticket into the GJ game on August 24 starting at 6:05 p.m. After August 17, the entry fee will increase to $40 for late entries. This event is open to runners, walkers, strollers and our four-legged friends! The race is chip timed for the second straight year.
