AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State's Holly Keeper was
named the Peach Belt Conference's Runner-Of-The-Week Monday,
according to a release from the league office.
A sophomore from Rifle, Colo., Keeper helped lead the Lady Jaguars
to their second victory in three events this season on Saturday,
Oct. 9 at Blanchard Woods Park. She established a new course record
with a winning 6k time of 24:03.74 at the site of the 2010 PBC

Keeper's effort marked the second-fastest 6k run in the PBC
this season. The sophomore has been the first ASU runner across the
line in every meet she has competed in dating back to the beginning
of her freshman season.
Both the ASU men's and women's squads are back in
action on Friday, Oct. 15 in the Royal Cross Country Challenge in
Charlotte, N.C.
