AU Volleyball Defeats Rival USC Aiken in Straight Sets

Aiken, S.C. – The Augusta University women's volleyball team swept PBC Rival USC Aiken on Tuesday in Aiken, S.C., completing the conference series sweep by the Jags for the season

 

The Jaguars (8-2) extend their win streak to 7 with the win over the Pacers.

 

The Jaguars utilized a balanced offensive attack to take down the home team. Alyssa Frazier led with 9 kills and 4 blocks. Alexis Diaz-Infante added 8 kills with no errors on 11 swings in addition to 4 blocks. Julie Archer tallied 7 kills on 12 swings while Chloe Allen added 6 kills on her own. Nedu Evans put up 5 kills and Kylie Martin added 4.

 

Holland Martin and Kylie Martin both picked up 12 digs in the 3-set match.

 

The Pacers were led by Allie Smith's 12 kills.   

Augusta returns home to play Lander on Friday evening at 6.
