Augusta Volleyball Dominates UNC Pembroke at Home

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's volleyball team swept in-conference opponent UNC Pembroke on Friday evening with scores of 25-15, 25-23, and 25-16. The loss evens the series between the two teams after a loss by AU early in the season.

 

The Jaguars (7-2) extend their win streak to 6 over the visiting UNC Pembroke Braves (5-5).

The Jaguars were led by Alyssa Frazier's 12 kills with no errors on 23 swings. Kylie Martin turned in another double-double, tallying 10 kills and 16 digs. Chloe Allen added 8 kills, 7 digs, and 6 blocks for the match. Julie Archer hit a season-best 7 kills with a .375 attack percentage.

 

Holland Martin picked up 14 digs in the 3-set match and Samantha Zittrauer carded a season-high 30 assists in the contest.

 

The Braves were led by Kaila Crowder's 10 kills.   

Augusta travels to play cross-town rival USC Aiken on Tuesday night at 6:00pm.
