Beck Named PBC Specialist Of The Week

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University senior setter McKenzey Beck has been named the Peach Belt Conference Volleyball Specialist of the Week, the PBC office announced Tuesday afternoon.

 

Beck had another tremendous all-around week for the 15-4 Jaguars with two triple-doubles.  The senior from Phoenix, Ariz., averaged 2.91 kills, 5.27 assists and 3.09 digs per set with two triple-doubles.  She opened with 10 kills, 25 assists and 12 digs against Emmanuel and followed with 14 kills, 17 assists and 15 digs against Lander.

 

In a sweep of USC Aiken she had 16 assists and three blocks. Beck is currently tied for fourth in NCAA Division II with four triple-doubles on the year. She is also ninth in the PBC in assists per set, 13th in kills per set, 14th in digs per set and 20th in blocks per set.

 

This is Beck's third PBC weekly honor after earning back-to-back Player of the Week awards in 2017. It is AU's 10th PBC Specialist of the Week award all time.
