Beck Named PBC Preseason All-Conference

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference released the 2018 volleyball preseason All-Conference team and Augusta University senior McKenzey Beck represents the Jaguars on the list.

 

The 2018 preseason All-PBC Team is McKenzey Beck, Georgia College's Kayla Brockway and Taylor Svehla, USC Aiken's Rebecca Martinez and Alie Smith, and Flagler's Karlie Redfern and Tara Savisky. The seven-member team represents four of the seven PBC volleyball program. The league's head coaches selected the team.

 

Last season as a junior-transfer to the Jaguars, Beck led the nation with 12 triple-doubles (kills, assists, digs) and was named All-Region and first team All-Conference.  

In her first season in the Peach Belt in 2017, Beck ranked third in the league in kills and points. The setter played in 30 matches and in 120 sets, while ranking fourth in aces, fifth in assists, seventh in total attacks, ninth in hitting percentage, and 10th in digs. She was also named PBC Player of the Week twice.
