Augusta Falls In Final Road Match Of The Regular-Season At Flagler

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Augusta University women's volleyball team played its final regular-season road contest on Saturday at Flagler College and fell 3-0 in the Peach Belt Conference match.

 

Augusta is now 16-13 overall and 5-5 in the PBC, while Flagler is 18-3 and 7-1 in the league. See the full PBC standings by clicking here

 

Augusta fell 25-18, 25-20, and 25-18. Jags junior Savanna Gonzales led the squad with 10 kills, McKenzey Beck posted 22 assists and three digs, and Chloe Allen had nine digs and four kills.

 

Gonzales had a .455 hitting percentage in the match. Flagler was led by Karlie Redfern's 13 kills and Taja Valmyr's 11.

 

Augusta hosts Lander on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 p.m. in Christenberry Fieldhouse and closes the regular-season on Saturday, Nov. 11 against rival USC Aiken.
