Beck Brings Home Second PBC Player of the Week Award

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University women's volleyball junior McKenzey Beck has been named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

 

Beck picks up her second weekly honor after another pair of triple-doubles last week. The junior from Phoenix, Ariz., averaged 3.38 kills, 6.25 assists and 5.50 digs per set as the Jaguars won a pair of conference matches.

 

She had 14 kills, 19 assists, 22 digs and three blocks in a 3-1 win over Georgia College, then had 13 kills, 31 assists and 22 digs in a 3-1 road win at Lander. The triple-doubles were her fourth and fifth of the season.

 

Beck now leads all of Division II in triple-doubles and is tied for the lead among all three NCAA divisions. She leads the PBC in total kills, is third in aces, eighth in digs and eighth in assists per set.
