Jags Volleyball Announces New Summer Clinic Format For 2017

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University volleyball team announced a revamped format to their annual summer clinic. In addition to the weeklong camp from June 5-8 at Christenberry Fieldhouse, the Jaguars set an eight-week window from June 5 to July 31 where they will bring the clinic on the road.

"This is a fresh new innovative way of keeping the ball in the player's hands all summer long," head coach Sharon Quarles said. "Once a week for eight weeks we get to see and work with campers at their facility or ours, addressing skill development and team chemistry. Teams can sign up for the clinic or individuals not on a current team can book a spot."

Campers can claim a spot for $85 where the AU volleyball staff will come to a team's facility or host it at Christenberry.

The camp is geared towards middle school and high school athletes and will consist of individual skills training with focus on serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and individual defense. Competitions will be held daily as campers will be placed into groups of similar ability to showcase their skills.

For registration, print and fill out the brochure and include payment with the form. Please make all checks payable to the ASU Foundation c/o Volleyball.
