Volleyball WHITEOUT Sept. 21 Against Rival USC Aiken

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Jaguars women's volleyball team will host a whiteout on Wednesday, Sept. 21 against Peach Belt Conference rival USC Aiken in Christenberry Fieldhouse for a 7:00 p.m. match. All fans are encouraged to wear white to support the Jags.

The first 200 Augusta University students will get free Papa John's Pizza with a valid JagCard.

The matchup with the USCA Pacers is the first home conference match of the season for Augusta.

Admission to all home volleyball matches is free to all.

The Jaguars (5-2, 2-0 PBC) have won four in a row – including two road wins most recently against Columbus State and Montevallo. Augusta sits third in the Peach Belt standings, but has the same conference record (2-0) as top-ranked Lander and No. 2 USC Aiken.

Augusta freshman setter Sammie Baker ranks second in the PBC with 11.15 assists per set and is sixth with 301 total assists. Sophomore Blair Bolton sits fourth with a .353 hitting percentage, senior Cat DeSilvester third with 5.04 digs per set, and freshman Kenya Stokes is second in aces with 21.

The Pacers (9-1, 2-0 PBC) are riding a six match winning streak and took down UNC Pembroke and Francis Marion 3-0 last weekend. USC Aiken's Emily Teelon leads the league with a .383 hitting percentage, Taylor Stratton is third in kills (137, 3.70 kps), and Julia Forster is third in points (153, 4.1 pps).
