CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Jaguar sophomore Blair Bolton was named to the 2016 Queens Invitational All-Tournament Team for her strong performance at the season-opening event on the campus of Queens University of Charlotte.
Queens announced the seven-player team Tuesday morning. Bolton is one four players from the Peach Belt Conference on the list as she joins Halle Dotson (Lander), Shan Hotson (USC Aiken), and Taylor Stratton (USC Aiken).
Blair Bolton (Lawrenceville, Ga.) totaled 29 kills across three matches (2.42 kills per set) highlighted by 12 in the season opener against Belmont Abbey and 14 in the next match against Catawba. Bolton started two of the three matches and blocked eight shots total while posting a .319 attacking percentage.
Bolton and the Jags host the 2016 Augusta Volleyball Invitational this Saturday, Sept. 10 in Christenberry Fieldhouse with Georgia College, North Greenville, and Southern Wesleyan.
The all-tournament team was voted on by tournament coaches with recipients receiving votes from opposing teams.
