CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The 2016 Augusta Jaguars begin the new season at the Queens University of Charlotte Volleyball Fall Invitational Sept. 2-3 in Charlotte, N.C.
Augusta begins the season for the third straight year at the Queens Invitational in the Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation on the campus of Queens University of Charlotte. The Jags face Lenoir-Rhyne and Belmont Abbey on Friday, Sept. 2 and Catawba and Queens on Saturday, Sept. 3 to kick off the season.
The event consists of nine teams made up from the Peach Belt Conference (PBC), Southern Athletic Conference (SAC), and the Conference Carolinas.
The event features Queens (SAC), Catawba College (SAC), Lenoir- Rhyne University (SAC), Lander University (PBC), Augusta University (PBC), Francis Marion University (PBC) USC Aiken (PBC), Belmont Abbey College (Conference Carolinas), and Wingate University (SAC).
