AUGUSTA, Ga. – Georgia Regents University Athletics will host a NCAA Volleyball Tournament sendoff party tomorrow, Tuesday Nov. 18 at 5:15 p.m. for the Jaguar women's volleyball team in Christenberry Fieldhouse.
There will be cake and ice cream inside Christenberry Fieldhouse tomorrow at 5:15 p.m. at the conclusion of the Jaguar Volleyball practice. The event is free and open to the public. Join the volleyball team, fans, and faculty and staff as we celebrate the 2014 GRU Augusta women's volleyball team for reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time and for posting the best record in school history.
The GRU Augusta women's volleyball team will make their first trip to the NCAA Volleyball Tournament, after they earned the fourth seed in the upcoming NCAA Southeast Regional to be played on Thursday, November 20th, in the Cuddy Arena on the campus of Wingate University in Wingate, N.C.
The Jaguars (26-8) will face fifth-seed Anderson (25-8) on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in Wingate, N.C.
If the Jags reach the NCAA Championship game on Saturday, Nov. 22, a charter bus will be provided by GRU Athletics for fans that Saturday. The bus is first-come, first-serve and will leave at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22 from Christenberry Fieldhouse if necessary.
