AUGUSTA, Ga. – The GRU Augusta Volleyball program announced plans to hold a Peach Belt Conference match against Georgia College on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at The Wellness Center on the Health Sciences Campus of Georgia Regents University, according to a statement from Head Coach Sharon Bonaventure Friday morning.
The Jags will take on the Georgia College Bobcats for a 6:30 p.m. PBC matchup in the Wellness Center.
"We are truly excited about hosting Georgia College at our Wellness Center on the Health Sciences Campus," Head Coach Sharon Bonaventure said. "It is a great venue to host such an event and we believe it will be a great opportunity to bring the campuses together as one unit for a night of exciting volleyball."
Generally playing their home contests in Christenberry Fieldhouse, the Jags will host their first game ever at The Wellness Center, on the corner of 15th Street and Laney Walker Blvd. The Jags will be wearing pink-alternate jerseys in support of Dig Pink Night, an event raising support and awareness for breast cancer research and fans are encouraged to wear pink as well.
