AUGUSTA, Ga. – The GRU Augusta Volleyball program has called off its 2013 summer camp and plans to revive the event next summer in 2014.
Jaguar Head Coach Sharon Bonaventure, who recently underwent shoulder surgery, will not be holding the summer camp in Christenberry Fieldhouse scheduled for late July due to the renovation of the new gym floor. Bonaventure plans to continue the camp for summer 2014 at the conclusion of the 2013-14 GRU Augusta seasons.
GRU Volleyball opens its season against Erskine on Friday, Sept. 6 at the Armstrong Classic in Savannah, Ga. The Jags play their home opener vs. Columbus State on Sept. 13 before they host the GRU Augusta Tri-Match on Sept. 14.
