AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Lander outlasted Augusta State 3-2 Wednesday night in a Peach Belt Conference match in Christenberry Fieldhouse.

With the setback, ASU slipped to 10-19 overall and 3-10 in the PBC, while the Bearcats improved to 10-12 on the season and 4-7 in the league.

Freshman Karolina Stenlund booked 16 kills for the Jaguars, while Lagi Roberts and Mandy Irizarry notched 11 and 10, respectively. Freshman setter Lisa Bartsch garnered 45 assists and freshman libero Andria Tagarelli turned in 25 digs. With 19 digs, Roberts tallied her 11th double-double of the season while Bartsch added 15 digs and sophomore Meredith Berce chipped in 10. Junior Jessica Hanson logged eight kills and four blocks.

Lander's Melissa McCracken was one of four players in double digits with 16 kills. Magi Nottingham and Hannah Dederick booked 12 kills each and Jordan Rix managed 10 kills. Candace LaRocca had 51 assists and Madison Kubal led four Bearcats with 24 kills.

ASU travels to Limestone on Saturday, Oct. 30 for a non-conference match. First serve is slated for 4:30 p.m., in Gaffney, S.C.
