MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Augusta University women's outdoor track and field team sent senior Macy Hayes and sophomore Micah Weathers to the Mount Olive Last Chance Meet, May 13, to compete in the high jump and the 5000-meter race.
The Jaguar duo came up short in their respective events and just missed a qualifying time for the NCAA Championships. Hayes leapt to an eighth-place finish in the finals of the high jump – taking eighth with a reach of 1.56m. Weathers placed top three in the 5000-meter race and crossed the line in 18:04.98.
