"This spring we are hoping to continue the momentum from last spring and this past fall," head coach Adam Ward said. "Last track season and this past cross country season were great for our programs. This schedule should prepare us well for the type of competition we will face later at conference and trying to qualify for the NCAAs later in May."

Augusta University begins its sixth season of outdoor track and field after introducing the programs for the 2013 season.

The outdoor track and field season will begin on February 24 in Savannah, Ga., at the Savanna State Eye Opener, followed by the Victor Icebreaker Duals, hosted by Berry College, in Mount Berry, Ga., on March 3.

Augusta heads to conference foe UNC Pembroke in Pembroke, N.C., on March 16-17 for the Braves Classic. The Jaguars then head back to Georgia for the Emory Invitational March 23-24 in Atlanta, Ga., before traveling to the Colonial Relays, hosted by William and Mary, April 5-6 in Williamsburg, Va.

The Jags return to Mount Berry, Ga., for the second trip of the year on April 6-7 for the Berry College Field Day Invitational. The event is the final regular-season meet before the conference finals.

The Peach Belt and UNC Pembroke host the 2018 PBC Championships April 19-21 in Pembroke, N.C. The top-three finishers in each event will be named All-Conference.

Augusta closes out the scheduled slate with a trip to Florida State's Seminole Twilight on May 4 in Tallahassee, Fla., and to the Montevallo Last Chance from May 11-13 in Montevallo, Ala. The NCAA Championships take place May 23-26 in Charlotte, N.C.
