AUGUSTA, Ga. – GRU Augusta assistant coach for cross country and track and field, Pardon Ndhlovu, has a chance to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from August 5-21, when he races the Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minn., this Saturday, June 21st.
AUGUSTA, Ga. – GRU Augusta Outdoor Track and Field seniors Jaiden Brandt and Garrett Mathews, junior Austin Hendricks, and women’s sophomore Jordan Humphrey were all named to the Peach Belt Conference’s 2014 Track & Field All-Academic teams for their outstanding GPA’s while maintaining athletic competition in the 2013-14 school year.
In just their second season of competition, the GRU Augusta Outdoor Track and Field teams had a combined total of five student-athletes named to the 2014 Division II All-Region list by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Monday afternoon with the men posting three and the women’s squad two.
