Jaguars Fall To No. 15 Columbus State In Conference Play

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's tennis team lost a 7-0 Peach Belt Conference match to the No. 15 nationally-ranked Columbus State Cougars on Saturday afternoon at Newman Tennis Center.

 

The match moved Augusta to 10-7 overall and 2-6 in the PBC, while the Cougars moved to 12-3 overall and 4-0 in the league. CSU also leads the NCAA Southeast Region rankings.

 

AU hosts Georgia Southwestern on Sunday, March 31 for another 12:00 p.m. PBC match at Newman Tennis Center. The Jaguars will celebrate 2019 Senior Day prior to the match.
