NCAA Women's Tennis
Jaguars Fall To No. 12 Flagler, 9-0
AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's tennis team hosted the Flagler Saints on Saturday morning or the second-straight Peach Belt Conference match at Newman Tennis Center and fell 9-0.
Augusta's Maerye Gobernate and Alejandra Gonzalez battled 8-4 in No. 3 doubles, but the Saints' Felicitas Runkel and Hilary Hanton were too much. It was the closest doubles match for the Jaguars on the day.
In singles play, Flagler stayed flawless to sweep Augusta at home.
Augusta returns to the court on Sunday, Feb. 26 to host top-ranked Armstrong State for a PBC dual match at 10:00 a.m.
