Newman Tennis Center (NTC), which opened in 1981, was built through a collaboration between the City of Augusta and the Department of Natural Resources, and a Land and Water Use Grant. NTC is named for Pop Newman who was the Mayor of Augusta at the time and who helped coordinate the project. NTC is in the final stages of their $125,000 renovation they began in early October 2014 to redo the surfaces of all 18 courts.

The Jaguar men play at the Georgia College Invitational from Oct. 10-12 in Milledgeville, Ga., for the final fall event of either GRU squad.
