GREENVILLE, N.C.. – The Augusta University women's golf team played in the ECU Easter Invitational at Ironwood Country Club and the Jaguars finished in third place at 27 over par and 3 strokes behind the leader. Nicole Page and Teresa Diez-Moliner both finished in the top 10.
Hosted by ECU, the nine team field included Augusta, East Carolina, College of Charleston, Coastal Carolina, Campbell, James Madison, High Point, Cincinnati, and Western Carolina. The teams started with round 1 on Saturday at the par-72, 6188 yard course. Augusta finished with a 299
The 18-team field started with one round on Sunday at the par-72, 6,383-yard course and wrapped it up on Tuesday with round three. Augusta finished with a 299 overall score to take 3rd.
East Carolina had a 5 shot lead after round 1 and came out on top. College of Charleston took second place while Augusta took third. Coastal Carolina and Campbell rounded out the top five.
Nicole Page tied for 5th and finished 2 under-par in the final round. Teresa Diez-Moliner finished tied for 10th after shooting a 74(+2), 74(+2), and a 72(E). Napabhach Boon-In finished tied for 16th, Charlotte Alran finished tied for 31st, and Mary Hunt Murray finished in 47th.
