New Signee Napabhach Boon-In Places Strong At Thai LPGA Event

HUA HIN, Thailand – Augusta University 2019-20 women's golf freshman, Napabhach Boon-In, finished 11th at the 2019 Singha-Sat Championship on Friday, July 26 at the Black Mountain Golf Course in Hua Hin, Thailand. Boon-In birdied six holes over three rounds to finish 2-under-par in the field of 51 competitors at the Thai LPGA event.

 

Competing as an amateur on the pro tour, Boon-In fired a 71 (-1) in round three to share a four-way tie for 11th place. The Thailand Ladies Professional Golf Association was founded in 2008 by permission of the Professional Golf Association of Thailand and the Sports Authority of Thailand.

 

Boon-In, an incoming freshman for Augusta, attended the Hua Hun Wittayalai School in Hua Hin, Thailand from 2007 to 2019 and will join the Jaguars this fall for the 2019-20 season. She competes for the Thailand National Team and has won several amateur championships during her young career. She plans to study business marketing at AU.
