AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's golf team earned an at-large bid to the 2019 NCAA East Lansing Regional and will begin the postseason May 6-8 at Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing, Michigan.

The selection for the Jaguars is the eighth in the 18-year history of the program and it will mark the third trip for Augusta head coach Caroline Hegg in her fourth season at the helm of the program.
Seventy-two teams and 24 individuals will be selected to compete at one of four regional championships, each featuring 18 teams and six individuals, May 6-8, 2019. From regional competition, 24 teams and 12 individuals will advance to the national championships to be played May 17-22 at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The four regional sites include Tumble Creek Golf Club in Cle Elum, Washington, hosted by the University of Washington; Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, Oklahoma, hosted by the University of Oklahoma; Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing, Michigan, hosted by Michigan State University and Greater Lansing Sports Authority; and Saugahatchee Country Club in Opelika, Alabama, hosted by Auburn University.
The East Lansing Regional is being hosted by Michigan State University and Greater Lansing Sports Authority.
This year's women's golf championships will be broadcast for the fifth consecutive year by Golf Channel with more than 100 news and tournament hours planned again for the men's and women's golf championships.
