AUGUSTA, Ga. – Due to inclement weather, The Birdie Club and the Augusta University men's and women's golf teams were forced to call off the Augusta University Golf Social scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 8 at the J. Fleming Norvell Golf House. The Birdie Club will still host the annual AU Golf Scramble on Friday, Nov. 9 at Forest Hills Golf Club – home of the Jaguars.

The annual fundraising tournament to support the Jaguar Golf programs is set for its fourth edition. Registration and lunch at the Forest Hills grill begins at 11:00 a.m. and a shotgun start begins play at 12:00 p.m. Following play there will be awards and prizes and a silent auction. Complimentary refreshments are available as well.
The mission of The Birdie Club is to provide funding for the Augusta men's and women's golf programs through generous donations from individuals and corporations for the purpose of competing at the highest level in intercollegiate Division I golf.
