Augusta Women’s Golf Roster Grows By Three

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's golf program and head coach Caroline Hegg announced that three new student-athletes will be added to the 2017-18 Division I golf roster. The new Jaguars include freshman Nicole Page (Murfreesboro, Tenn), junior Sarah Tychsen (Pietermaritzburg, South Africa) and freshman Teresa Diez-Moliner (Valladolid, Spain).

 

"We are very pleased to add these three talented student-athletes to our roster," Hegg said. "I think their enthusiasm, hard work, and competitive history will help our team continue to improve."

 

Name: Teresa Diez-Moliner          

Year: Freshman

Height: 5-4   

Hometown / Previous School: Valladolid, Spain / Colegio Leones

 

Teresa Diez-Moliner was born in Bilbao, Spain and attended Colegio Leones where she graduated in 2017. Diez-Moliner finished top 16 at the Spanish International Championship and the French International Championship during her tenure. She was also a representative for Spain at the World Junior Championship and the Spain-Sweden Match for 2016 and 2017. Diez-Moliner is the sister to Augusta women's golf junior Cecilia Diez-Moliner who has been with the Jaguars since 2015.

Year: Freshman      

Height: 5-9   

Hometown / Previous School: Murfreesboro, Tenn. / National High School

 

Nicole Page is an incoming freshman born in Nashville, Tenn. She studied online at the National High School in Norcross, Ga., and graduated in three years. Page won a Tennessee state tournament as a sophomore and tied for first as a freshman. She was also the champion of the 90th Annual Schooldays tournament. Page's team won the state title two years in a row.

Year: Junior 

Height: 5-5   

Hometown / Previous School: Pietermaritzburg, South Africa / Varsity College

 

Sarah Tychsen is a junior-transfer to the Jaguars from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Tychsen attended Varsity College in Pietermaritzburg from 2014-2105 after graduating from Grace College in 2013. She plans to study communications at Augusta.
