Jags Receive NCAA Public Recognition Award For Top 10 Academic Progress Rate

AUGUSTA, Ga. – For the second consecutive school year, the Augusta University women's golf teams has been recognized by the NCAA for ranking in the top 10 percentile of the Division I Academic Progress Rate. Augusta receives the award for academic excellence during the 2015-16 season, after picking up the title in 2014-15 as well.

 

The Augusta Jaguars and head coach Caroline Hegg were named recipients of the NCAA's Public Recognition Award on Thursday, July 27 by NCAA President Mark Emmert.

 

This honor is bestowed on teams with an NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports in the 2015-16 academic year.
