GRU Augusta to host ninth annual 3M Jaguar Intercollegiate at Forest Hills GC March 11-13

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The GRU Augusta women's golf team released their 2015-16 schedule on Friday afternoon. The Jaguars slate features three fall events and six regular-season spring events – including the 3M Jaguar Intercollegiate, hosted by GRU Augusta at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.

The Jags open the new agenda for the third-straight year at the Minnesota Invitational at the Minikahda Club in Minneapolis, Minn., on Sept. 14 for a two-day event. It is the farthest the team travels during the regular season. The Jags tied for fourth in 2014 and 2013.

For the second consecutive year, GRU Augusta travels to the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Nashville, Tenn., for the Mason Rudolph Championship on Sept 18-20, hosted by the Boilermakers. GRU finished in a tied for fourth with Auburn last season 21 shots off the lead.

The Palmetto Intercollegiate on Oct. 25-27, hosted by Charleston Southern, at Turtle Point Golf Club in Kiawah Island, S.C., will conclude the Fall 2015 portion of the schedule. It is the fourth-straight season the Jags will compete in the Palmetto.

Spring 2016 begins with a visit to Orlando, Fla., on Feb. 7-9 for the UCF Challenge. Hosted by the University of Central Florida at the Eagle Creek Golf Club, the 2016 UCF Challenge will be the fifth time in the least six seasons that GRU has competed in the event. The squad stays in Florida for the Amelia Island Collegiate in Jacksonville, Fla., on Feb. 22-23 at the Amelia National Golf Club, hosted by Jacksonville University.

GRU Augusta hosts the ninth-annual 3M Jaguar Intercollegiate at Forest Hills Golf Club on March 11-13 in Augusta, Ga. The Jags keep it in Georgia for two-straight weekends with a trip to Kennesaw State's home event, the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate at the Pine Tree Country Club on March 28-29 in Kennesaw, Ga.

The Jags play the Clemson Invitational, hosted by the Tigers on April 1-3 at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, S.C., and they conclude the regular-season schedule at the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational in Columbus, Ohio on April 16-17.

The NCAA Division I Regional is set for May 5-7, 2016 and will be held at four different sites. The 2016 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships will be hosted by the University of Oregon at Eugene Country Club on March 20-25.
