AUGUSTA, Ga. – The No. 26 GRU Augusta Jaguars open the spring portion of their 2015 season this Sunday, Feb. 15 at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic at the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort & Rio Mar Country Club - River Course in Grande, Puerto Rico.
Ranked No. 26 in the nation according to Golfstat.com, the GRU Augusta's women's golf team finished in the top five in all four of their fall events - including a first-place finish at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate on Oct. 14 in Greenville, N.C.

The 2015 LPRC is a three-day event hosted by Purdue University. Last year in Puerto Rico, the Jaguars finished second overall in with a 17-over 881. Josefine Nyqvist paced the Jags and tied for ninth overall with a 2-over 74 to finish at 217 for the tournament. Eunice Yi shot her second-best round of the event with a 1-over 73 to tie for 13th and Jessica Haigwood shot her second straight 78 to finish 219 to take 45th.
