Jags Tee Off At The Palmetto Intercollegiate

AUGUSTA, Ga.,  – Ranked No. 25 in the nation according to Golfstat.com, the GRU Augusta women's golf team looks to build off their most impressive outing of the season as they prepare for the Palmetto Intercollegiate, hosted by the College of Charleston, at the Turtle Point Golf Course in Kiawah Island, S.C., from October 26-28.

The Palmetto Intercollegiate is a three-day, 54-hole tournament that will begin Sunday, October 26 at 9:00 a.m. The Jags will compete in a 20-team field from Sunday-Tuesday.

The teams include GRU Augusta, Campbell, Charleston Southern, Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, ETSU, Eastern Michigan, Elon, Furman, Georgia State, GRU Augusta, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Kansas, Kansas State, Maryland, South Florida, UNCG, Western Carolina and Xavier.

Last time out the Jaguars won the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate and earned a top-25 ranking for the first time in program history. The GRU Augusta women's golf team is ranked 25 in the nation according to Golfstat.com's most recent national rankings.
