Natalie Wille Ranked No. 1 On Nordea Tour

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Natalie Wille enjoyed four consistent years of golf as a Jaguar and now she's ranked No. 1 on the Nordea Tour, the professional tour in Sweden, and has earned a wildcard spot in the European Tour's Helsingborg Ladies Open.

Wille sits first on the list of 177 professional players after competing in eight events with Bro-Balsta Golfklubb. She will play her first event on the European Tour from Sept. 4-7 at the Helsingborg Open in Skane, Sweden at Vasatorp Golf Club. Wille will face 126 other contestants in the four-day tournament.

"Being ranked number one on the Nordea Tour is beyond my expectations and I was thrilled when I was ranked number one for the first time about two months ago," Wille said. "I'm very excited to be playing in the Helsingborg Open next week and I was certainly not planning on playing my first LET (Ladies European Tour) event this year. I'm going to play my game as usual, but also try to learn as much as possible from other established LET players."

Wille notched double-digit top-20 finishes as a Jaguar from 2009-2013, including one victory and carded the second-lowest career stroke average in school history (74.19). She helped the squad to two NCAA postseason appearances and ended her collegiate career by earning an at-large bid, along with teammate Casey Kennedy, to the NCAA East Regional in Auburn, Ala., at the Auburn University Golf Club.
