Christine Duschek-Hansen Named All-American Scholar

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – GRU Augusta women's golf senior Christine Duschek-Hansen, who just finished her collegiate career, can add an All-American Scholar accolade to her list of accomplishments, after the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced the list of 664 women's collegiate golfers from Division I, II & III who maintained at least a 3.50 GPA throughout the 2013-14 season.

Hailing from Vejle, Denmark and a recently graduated senior from Georgia Regents University, Duschek-Hansen competed in nine tournaments and carded 26.0 rounds on the course. She posted an 81.08 stroke average in 2013-14 and ended her career as a Jaguar with a 78.86 stroke average. Her low round of the season was 74, a score she recorded in her first event of the season at the Lady Paladin Invitational on Sept. 22 and in her last collegiate event at the Rebel Intercollegiate on April 6th where she helped lead GRU Augusta to the first-place title.

Last year Duschek-Hansen received the same award from the WGCA for her efforts in the 2012-13 season.
