Patrick Nets 15 In Loss At Flagler

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Augusta University women's basketball team traveled to Flagler College on Wednesday afternoon and fell 74-63 in Peach Belt Conference play.

Augusta played the Saints close in the first period and trailed by two points, but Flagler went into halftime on top 37-29. The Jaguars outscored Flagler by one in the third, but the home team took it away in the fourth to win 74-63.

 

Augusta senior Kaela Patrick scored 15 points and had five assists to lead the team – hitting three shots from three-point territory and shooting 4-for-9 from field-goal range. Senior point guard Mallory Myers carded 10 points, and had four assists, and three steals, while junior Cameryn Wilson netted eight points, seven rebounds, and a steal for the Jaguars.

 

The Saints won the game down low and had 52 rebounds to AU's 26, while outscoring the Jags 36-12 in the paint.

 

The Jaguars return to Christenberry Fieldhouse in Augusta, Ga., to host the Columbus State Cougars for a 1:30 p.m. Peach Belt Conference game.
