AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's basketball team and head coach Millette Green added junior-transfer Quinlan Hughes to the 2018-19 roster.

Hometown / Previous School: Tucker, Ga. / Southwest Tennessee
"Quinlan is a long athletic forward who brings versatility and experience to our recruiting class," Green said. "She competes at both ends of the floor with high energy."
Hughes transfers to Augusta from Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis, Tenn. In her one year playing for the Saluqis in 2017-18, she was named All-Conference and helped her team to a 21-8 record, while reaching the NJCAA Region VII Tournament. Hughes averaged 10.6 points per game and 5.4 rebounds a night.
A graduate from Tucker High School in Tucker, Ga., in 2016, Hughes won a state championship in 2014 and two region titles in 2015 and 2016. She is an honor roll student who plans on studying criminal justice at Augusta University.
Hughes joins four others who signed National Letters of Intent in the spring period in addition to the three that Green inked early in November 2017
