ATLANTA, Ga. – Augusta State picked up a non-conference road win Wednesday night with a 59-57 victory at Clark-Atlanta in Epps Gymnasium.

With the win, ASU improved to 2-3 on the young season while Clark-Atlanta slipped to 1-3 overall.

Junior guard/forward Eryka Menzies paced the Lady Jaguars with 13 points and Brittany White booked 10 points, four rebounds, four assists and five steals off the bench.

Denisee Lee pitched in a game-high 17 points for Clark-Atlanta and Conisha Hicks added 13.

The Lady Jags, who led 25-22 at the half, shot 45.3 percent in the game and 52.0 percent in the second half. CAU shot at just a 37.7 clip on the night. ASU won the rebounding battle 41-34 and forced 20 Clark turnovers.

The Lady Jags open their Peach Belt Conference schedule on Saturday, Dec. 3 in Florence, S.C. Tipoff time from Francis Marion's Smith University Center is slated for 1:30 p.m.
