Augusta, Ga. – Augusta University head softball coach Melissa Brocato has added one more to the 2021 signee class, Lauren Evens from Buford, Georgia.

"We're excited to announce the addition of Lauren Evens to our 2021 signing class. She adds depth to our middle infield and power potential to the line up! She comes from a tough high school region and has proven herself to be strong hitter against great competition. We look forward to having her as part of the Jaguar family for the next four years!"

Evens comes to Augusta from Mountain View High School. She was named Defensive MVP in 2019 and August Player of the Month in 2020. She was also on the first team at Mountain View to ever win state in 2019 and region in 2020. She lettered in track while also attending Mountain View.
