AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University head softball coach Melissa Brocato will host the Melissa Brocato Softball Camp on Tuesday, June 11 at Jaguar Field, located next to Christenberry Fieldhouse in Augusta, Ga. Camp lasts from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

PURPOSE
Thank you for considering our Prospect Softball Camp. Augusta University Head Coach, Melissa Brocato, and Associate Head Coach, Evan Smith, invite you to learn the fundamentals of softball while showing your talent at this prospect camp. Our experienced staff will provide skill instruction to help you develop your fundamentals as a player and educate you on the recruiting process.
LOCATION
Jaguar Field – 3109 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30909
AGE
Prospect camp is open to any high school girl that has aspirations to play at the next level. Camp is for girls entering 9th grade through the 12th grade.
COST
The cost of the camp is $125. Camp is limited to the first 40 applicants with returned registration and payment. Campers will be divided into groups for skill instruction and game like settings. All activities will take place at Jaguar Field located on the campus of Augusta University in beautiful Augusta, Ga.
CANCELLATIONS
There is a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellation requests received in writing one week prior to the date of camp will receive a refund less the $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given less than one week before camp start date.
WHAT TO BRING
Each camper will need tennis shoes, cleats/spikes, a glove and bat. Catchers should bring their own gear. None of the above mentioned equipment will be provided.
Campers are responsible to provide their own lunch. Water will be provided all day.
Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For anyone interested, a campus tour will be provided after camp.

- 8:30 a.m. Registration
- 9:00 a.m. Introductions
- 9:05 a.m. Warm-up
- 9:15 a.m. Water
- 9:35 a.m. Defensive Drill work and evaluations
- 10:30 a.m. Water
- 10:35 a.m. Hitting Stations
- 12:00 p.m. Lunch Break
- 1:00 p.m. Game situations, base running, general recruiting presentation
- 3:45 p.m. Wrap up
- 4:00 p.m. Campus Tour for those interested (must provide own transportation to view main campus)
