"We love being able to have our hometown fans come and support us," Brocato said. "Of course, we are familiar with our field and our set up so that gives us a little more peace on game day."

Coach Brocato has added seven new players to the team for this season. They include six freshman and a junior transfer. Coach Brocato says that she has recruited more speed from her new team members and thinks it will work well with their defense and on the bases.

"I think we will be aggressive and give it all we have on the field," Brocato said. "We always work hard on hitting and will have to continue to do that. We have a large staff of pitchers who will work hard as well."
