AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University softball team hosted the Emmanuel College Lions on Wednesday afternoon and won game one 4-2 in walk-off fashion, before falling 6-3 in non-conference play at Jaguar Field.

The double feature moved Augusta to 12-24 overall and Emmanuel went to 13-19 on the season.

GAME 1

Augusta gave up a pair of runs in the first inning to Emmanuel on three-straight hits. AU responded it its first at bat when senior Auburn Balcorta walked and sophomore Lydia Hausman singled up the middle to cut the lead in half.
