AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University head softball coach Melissa Brocato has signed four new freshmen student-athletes in the National Letter of Intent (NLI) early signing period (Nov. 9-16). The Jaguars picked up Katy Caldwell, Madelyn Libby, Lauren Prescott, and Addison Renfroe who can compete in the 2019 season.

"We are super excited about this signing class," Brocato said. "These ladies will bring a lot of athleticism and enthusiasm to our team. Coach (Evan) Smith and I believe the class of 2018 will be a strong class for the Jaguars. We lose a big talented group of seniors this spring, so the incoming freshmen will have big shoes to fill. We are looking to these four to come in and make an impact."
