Diamond Jags Host Cancer Awareness Games March 26

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University softball team hosts the annual cancer awareness game on Sunday, March 26 against the North Georgia Nighthawks for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader at Jaguar Field. The game serves to raise awareness and funds for cancer research with all proceeds going to the Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University!

The Georgia Cancer Center will be on site for the game to take donations, inform fans on how to get involved, and hand out items to the crowd! GA Cancer Center Community Outreach Coordinator and cancer survivor, Laurie Woolard, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch to kick off the doubleheader.

 

Augusta meets No. 3 nationally-ranked North Georgia for back-to-back league games on Sunday at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. All home Jaguar Softball games are free to all!
