AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta State's offense could not be stopped Sunday versus St. Andrews, putting on a show as they coasted to 12-0 and 13-5 victories in non-conference action.

The Jaguars (13-5) put four runs on the board in the first, and seven in the second to start the day, and scored two, three, and four runs in the first three innings of game two.

Emily Headrick notched her fifth win of the season in the first game by holding St. Andrews (6-18) scoreless through five innings, striking out nine and failing to issue a walk.

Heather Hughes moved to 4-1 on the season in game two, giving up six hits and five runs (two earned) through four innings.

Jessica Thornton led the ASU attack, going 4-for-7 with a three-run homer, four runs scored, and six RBI. She also swiped two bases.

Kacee Camp (4-for-6, five R, a HR, two SB), Hannah Vaughn (3-for-4, two runs, four RBI), Molly Walton (3-for-6, two runs, RBI, and SB each) and Lauren Yeargan (4-for-5, four runs scored) all enjoyed strong outings as well.

The Jaguars return to action Thursday, March 8 when they host Le Moyne at Jaguar Field. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m.
