AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's and women's cross country teams compete in their second regular-season meet of the season with a trip to the Blazer Classic, hosted by UAB Friday, Oct. 16 in Birmingham, Alabama.
SPECTATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THE MEET
With just a month left until the Peach Belt Conference Championships on Nov. 14, both Augusta cross country squads are set for their second race of the season.
The Jaguar men are ranked No. 3 in the National Coaches Poll and 1st in the Peach Belt Conference Poll. The Jaguar women are in second place behind Flagler in the Peach Belt Conference Coaches Poll. Both Augusta Cross Country Squads took first amongst all teams at the Koala Cross Country Classic Oct. 3,
Senior standout Jacob Poston was named PBC Men's Runner of the Week for the first week of competition. Sophomore newcomer Mackenzie Taylor won her inaugural cross country and was named PBC Women's Runner of the Week for the first week of competition.
