AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Augusta State men's
and women's cross country squads both appeared in this
week's NCAA Southeast Region polls. The rankings were
released Tuesday by the USTFCCCA.
The Lady Jaguars moved from fifth place back up to fourth, while
the ASU men's squad cracked the rankings at No. 10. The
regional ranking is believed to be the first in the men's
program's history.
Both ASU squads host UNC Pembroke and Georgia College in a tri-meet
on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 10:00 a.m., at Savannah Rapids. The
women's race will be a 5K run, while the men's event
will be an 8K race.
