AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men’s outdoor track & field team had three student-athletes named to the 2019 Peach Belt Conference All-Academic team, the league office announced on Thursday afternoon. Augusta juniors Zach Fagan, Andre Walker, and sophomore Jacob Poston earned All-Academic status for the Jaguars.
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Region honorees for the 2019 NCAA Division II outdoor track & field season on Tuesday afternoon. For the first time, the event moves to one of the league's associate members as Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will serve as host and defend their men's and women's titles from 2018. Augusta took 12th out of 27 teams with 28 points. Tennessee Wesleyan won the meet with 78 points. They were followed by Taylor in second (77.5 points) and Albany State in third (65.50 points).
