AS A JUNIOR IN 2016: Competed in three regular-season meets on the season … Top finish on the season came in the 4x400 with a time of 3:26.56 … Had five top-20 finishes and took third overall in the 4x4 relay at the Cougar Invite … Won the 4x4 relay at the Braves Track Classic on the campus of UNC Pembroke.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2015: Competed in 17 events in the spring and set two personal-best records for the 100m and 200m races … Finished the 100m race in 11.57 at the Peach Belt Conference Championships to post his best time ever …. Finished the 200m at the Cougar Classis in 23.77 for his best 200m time … Had five top-10 finishes and 11 top-25 places … Helped the Jaguars earn the first national ranking ever at No. 28 on the USTFCCCA list. 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2014: Competed in three meets on the year…Best finish was third overall in men’s 4x4 with a time of 3:29.62 at the Cougar Invitational on March 1st…Carded eighth in the 4x1 at the Coastal Carolina Invitational on March 15th…Also ran in the men’s 4x4, 400 meter, and 200 meter…Posted five top-20 finishes on the year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mansfield Summit High School in Arlington, Texas in 2013…Lettered in power lifting, track and field and cross country…Named Most Improved for Cross Country and was a ­region champion and district champion in 2012.

PERSONAL: Born on Sept. 23, 1994, in Arlington Texas. Son to Afua and Joe Konadu, and has two siblings, Alberta and Sheila … Majoring in Kinesiology.
