AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta State Men's Outdoor Track & Field team won the overall Paine College Dual Meet Friday afternoon in Laney Stadium.
The ASU men won the overall contest 59-32 in their 10 events scored. Here's an event-by-event breakdown of the Jaguars top performers during the weekend:
Paine-ASU Dual Meet – Feb, 22 – Lucy Laney Stadium
Men High Jump
ASU's Levonta Reddick participated uncontested – leaping for a jump of 1.80m/5-10.75.
Men Long Jump
The Jags duo of Christian Collier and Kevin Carlie took first and second as they competed unchallenged. Christian jumped for 5.95m/19-6.25 and Carlie finished with 5.43m/17-9.75.
Men Discus Throw
Paine College's Curtis Williams took first with 40.40m (132-06) and ASU's Austin Hendricks and Garrett Matthews finished second and third with 28.50m (93-06) and 22.89M (75-01).
Men Shot Put
Austin Hendricks took second for the Jags with 10.41m (34-02.0) behind Paine's Curtis Williams with 11.11m (36-5.50). Garrett Matthews rounded out ASU in eighth with 7.63m (25-0.50).
Men 100 Meter Dash
Christian Collier took second out of six in 11.00, just behind Paine's Donnie McKinley in 10.96, while Micah Herriman finished in 11.54 for fourth place.
Men 1500 Meter Run
ASU had the top-seven finishers out of eight. Six of the seven ASU men double as cross country athletes with Ryan McCarty, who finished third, competing solely in track.

Men 400 Meter Dash
Jags sprinter Cade Hardin (57.76) finished sixth respectively.
Men 800 Meter Ru
ASU took first, second and third from James Hull (2:03.47), Bryce Conway (2:08.64), and Garrett Matthews (2:14.76).
Men 200 Meter Dash
Levonta Reddick crossed first in 22.57 while Kevin Carlie (24.65) took fourth and Josh Gordan rounded it out at sixth with 26.41.
Men 4x400 Meter Relay
ASU 'A' and ASU 'B' both beat their counterparts in the final of the day. ASU's 'A' team finished first with 3:37.07 in front of Paine's 'A' team (3:43.59) and the Jags' 'B' squad took third, beating Paine-B in 3:55.46.
